KARACHI (Dunya News) - The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has reported that the country is facing a current account deficit for the second consecutive month.
The current account deficit has reduced from $400million to $1million.
According to a data released by the State Bank of Pakistan, there is a deficit in the country's current account on a monthly basis and a surplus on an annual basis.
The country is facing a current account deficit for the second consecutive month.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, in February, the country's current account had a deficit of $12million compared to $400 million deficit in January.
The current account deficit decreased by 97 per cent in February.
In the first eight months of this fiscal year, Pakistan's current account was in surplus of $700million, while in the first eight months of the previous fiscal year, the country's current account was in a deficit of $1billion 700 million.
