Bulls toss index above 117,000 mark

The benchmark KSE-100 closed at 117,001 points
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed bullish trend for the second consecutive day of trade, with the benchmark index gaining more than 800 points on Tuesday.
The benchmark KSE-100 index touched 117,202 with an increase of more than 1,000 points amid positive economic indicators. Later, it closed at 117,001 points.
Heavy buying was observed in key sectors including automobile assemblers, cement, commercial banks, oil and gas exploration companies, OMCs, power generation and refineries. Index-heavy stocks including HUBCO, NRL, PRL, PSO, SNGPL, OGDC, POL, PPL, MCB, MEBL and UBL traded in the green.
It must be remembered that the KSE-100 index was closed at 116,199 after gaining 663 points on Monday.
