At the start of the third trading day of the business week, robust buying activity was witnessed at the bourse. The benchmark KSE-100 index surged by more than 1,900 points, reaching 168,191 points during early trade.
The rally comes after the market closed at 166,258 points in the previous session, indicating renewed investor confidence and strong momentum at the opening bell.
Market analysts attributed the upbeat start to improved investor sentiment and fresh buying in key sectors, which helped the index recover the 168,000 level shortly after trading began.
