Summary Gold price in Pakistan rises by Rs1,400 per tola, reaching Rs504,862. Silver also up Rs110, while global gold gains $14 to $4,825 per ounce in world market according to official data.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Local market witnessed a fresh increase in gold prices as per tola gold became more expensive by Rs1,400.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, 24-karat gold per tola rose to Rs504,862 after the increase.
The price of 10 grams of gold also went up by Rs1,200 to Rs432,837.
Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded an increase, rising by Rs110 per tola to Rs8,514.
In the global market, gold price increased by $14 per ounce, reaching $4,825.
A day earlier, gold prices in Pakistan increased tracking gains in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association the price of gold per tola rose by Rs3,500 to reach Rs503,462. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs3,001, settling at Rs431,637.
