The market recorded gains at the opening of trade as the benchmark KSE-100 index gained more than 1,000 points to 171,571.
Earlier on Monday, the KSE-100 index lost 609 points and closed at 170,506.
Meanwhile, a mixed trend continued across Asian stock markets.
According to a foreign news agency, Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose by nearly 1 percent, while Thailand’s SET Index gained 0.40 percent. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index also posted slight gains.
On the other hand, South Korea’s KOSPI declined by 1.72 percent, Indonesia’s Jakarta Composite Index fell by one percent, and China’s Shanghai Composite Index slipped by 0.40 percent.
