KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a mixed trading session on Friday, with the benchmark 100 Index ultimately closing higher.

The market opened on a positive note, with the 100 Index gaining more than 500 points and crossing the 171,000-point level during early trading.

However, fluctuations continued throughout the session before the benchmark index closed 266 points higher at 170,765 points.

Trading activity remained strong, with 212.46 million shares worth approximately Rs12.04 billion changing hands during the session.

The previous trading session had ended with the 100 Index at 170,498 points.
