Summary Gold prices fell sharply in Pakistan, with 24-karat gold dropping Rs4,300 per tola to Rs436,336, while international gold prices declined $43 to $4,138 per ounce.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold prices fell sharply in both local and international markets a day after another decline, with the price of 24-karat gold dropping by Rs4,300 per tola in Pakistan.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell to Rs436,336 per tola. The price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs3,687 to Rs374,087.
The price of silver also declined in the local market, with one tola becoming Rs56 cheaper to reach Rs6,522.
Meanwhile, gold prices in the international market fell by $43 per ounce, bringing the price down to $4,138 per ounce.
