Summary Pakistan’s KSE-100 Index fell 2,288 points on Monday to close at 165,867, slipping below the 166,000-point level after sustained selling pressure.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan’s stock market plunged on Monday, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index losing 2,288 points and falling below the 166,000-point mark at the close of trading.

The benchmark index opened on a negative note on the first trading day of the week, initially falling more than 1,200 points to 166,850 points.

Selling pressure persisted throughout the trading session, pushing the index further lower. The KSE-100 ultimately closed at 165,867 points, down 2,288 points from the previous close.

The market had ended the previous trading session at 168,155 points.

The sharp decline marked a weak start to the trading week as investors remained cautious amid selling pressure in the market.
