NZ defeat S Africa in CT semi-final, set to meet India in final

LAHORE (Dunya News) - New Zealand defeated South Africa by 50 runs in the second semi-final of Champions Trophy 2025 which was played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Kiwis Captain Mitchell Santner and Glenn Phillips claimed three and two wickets respectively.
Proteas' David Miller scored an enthralling century which was not sufficient for his side as the Black Caps scored too many a run while batting first on a track which appeared batting friendly.
Earlier, the Black Caps, after winning the toss, set 363-run target for South Africa powered by Kane Williamson and Rachin Ravindra's tons.
The crucial knockout match is being played at, where the Kiwis are led by Mitchell Santner, while the Proteas are under the captaincy of Temba Bavuma.
New Zealand have decided to play the same playing XI they played against India, while South Africa now have the services of Temba Bavuma as he replaces Tristan Stubbs.
