LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Pakistan national cricket team has left for New Zealand to compete in a five-match T20 series starting March 16 in Christchurch.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the 16-member squad departed from Lahore via Dubai en route to New Zealand.
Pakistan’s 16-member T20 Squad:
Salman Ali Agha (captain), Shadab Khan (vice-captain), Abbas Afridi, Abdul Samad, Abrar Ahmed, Haris Rauf, Hassan Nawaz, Irfan Khan Niazi, Jahandad Khan, Khushdil Shah, Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Haris, Omair Bin Yousuf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sufiyan Muqeem, Usman Khan
Notably, Abdul Samad and Hassan Nawaz have earned their maiden call-up to the national squad.
Vice-captain Shadab Khan expressed confidence in the young squad, stating, "Many young players have been included, and they bring a different, positive energy. We have high expectations from the newcomers, and we aim for success."
