LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan opening batsman Fakhar Zaman has been ruled out of the upcoming One Day International (ODI) series against Bangladesh after suffering a hamstring injury.
Zaman, who had played an aggressive knock in the ICC T20 World Cup against Sri Lanka, will now focus on regaining his fitness at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore.
The Pakistan team is set to visit Bangladesh this month for a three-match ODI series, with the first match scheduled for March 11.
The team will arrive in Dhaka on March 9, followed by a practice session on March 10. The remaining two ODIs will be held on March 13 and March 15, all at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
This marks Pakistan’s second tour of Bangladesh after their visit in July 2025. During their last tour, Bangladesh won the T20 series, while Pakistan had previously claimed a 3-0 victory in the T20 series in May/June 2025 under the leadership of Salman Ali Agha.
