Three suspects including two women have been arrested, alleged involvement of brother’s widow
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Substantial progress in the case of ex-SP Farhat Abbas’s murder has been achieved as police arrests three suspects including a female relative. The ex-policeman was murdered in Millat park area of the provincial capital.
According to the police, three suspects including two women have been arrested. The widow of his brother was also allegedly involved in the murder.
Police has discovered that both the relatives were at loggerheads. It was also revealed that the deceased used to prevent her from keeping personal guards which intensified the feud and became the main reason behind the murder.
The ex-SP was murdered by two unidentified motorcycle riders, outside his home in broad daylight. The suspects shot the victim when was getting into his car parked outside his home. However, the suspects that fired on him could not been identified because of helmet.
