GUJRAT (Dunya News) - The son turned out to be the killer of his father in Ranbarrian Wala at the outskirts of Gujrat.
An influential businessman and owner of a poultry farm, Naeem Akhtar was shot dead by the firing of unknown assailants some six days ago.
The murder case was launched against unknown people on the application of the deceased’s brother. Police arrested Akhtar’s son due to his suspicious activities and he eventually confessed to murder his father during the investigation.
The accused confessed that that his father’s conduct was very harsh with him as compared to other siblings and therefore he killed his brother.
The police said that suspect Sohaib Naeem was planning the murder of his father for the last three months or so. The weapon has also been recovered, while further investigation is underway, the police added.
