Star-studded premiere of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani held in Mumbai

Movie is set to hit theatres on July 28
MUMBAI (Web Desk) - The premiere of the long-awaited Karan Johar's romantic comedy Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was held in Mumbai. The event was largely attended by the film's cast and other Bollywood celebrities.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani is directed by renowned filmmaker Karan and features extremely talented actors of India; Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles.
The film also stars Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi in significant roles. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan is also a part of the movie.
The star-studded event was attended by Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Gauri Khan, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Shweta Nanda, Malaika Arora, Arhaan Khan, Neha Dhupia, Shabana Azmi, Maheep Kapoor and Seema Sajdeh.
Alia and her husband Ranbir Kapoor were seen arriving together, twinning in black. They both wore matching patches that read 'Team Rocky Aur Rani'.
At the music launch of the film last week, Alia revealed that Ranbir has been very involved in the music of the film through her. Earlier, Karan, Pritam Da and Ranbir together have given a fantastic album (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil).
Ranveer also arrived at the premiere wearing a patch reading ‘Team Rocky Aur Rani’ on his chest, but without his wife Deepika Padukone.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani was shot extensively in New Delhi, Mumbai, Jammu & Kashmir and Russia.
It is set to hit theatres on July 28, according to the reports.
