LAHORE (Dunya News) - Senior Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has strongly reacted to controversial remarks made by fellow actor Firdous Jamal, saying no one has the right to disrespect other artists.
In a vlog, Bushra Ansari expressed regret over Firdous Jamal’s recent statements, saying she respects him but believes that no one should speak negatively about fellow actors.
She added that it is rare to find weak performers in the showbiz industry, and such statements are unnecessary.
The actress further said that Firdous Jamal should be mindful of his thinking and mental state, as negativity not only affects others but also impacts one’s own family.
It is worth noting that Firdous Jamal, in a podcast, made critical remarks about late actors Talat Hussain, Shafi Muhammad, Rahat Kazmi and Khayyam Sarhadi.
He also criticized late actor Abid Ali, claiming that none of them knew how to act.
His remarks drew strong backlash from social media users and showbiz personalities, especially as the actors he criticized are no longer alive.
