She acknowledged that streets are not completely safe for anyone, including children and animals, but said the situation could be improved through vaccination, food and proper care of stray dogs rather than killing them.

Sharing memories from her childhood, the actress said her family had a dog at home and that her mother had a strong interest in rescuing and caring for animals. She added that this compassion for animals had been passed down to her mother from her grandmother.
