KARACHI (Web Desk) – Pakistani vlogger Rajab Butt has sent another legal notice for defamation to his former wife Emaan Asad, with her lawyer claiming that the notice accuses her of attempting to defame the social media personality through online content.
According to Emaan Asad’s lawyer, the legal notice alleges that comments, reels and videos have been created and shared with the intention of damaging Rajab Butt’s reputation. The lawyer said no evidence supporting the allegations was provided along with the notice.
The lawyer said a response to the legal notice has already been submitted on behalf of Emaan Asad. He said the response sought evidence of the allegations so that the claims could be properly understood and assessed.
Emaan Asad’s lawyer further claimed that the latest notice appeared to be an attempt to harass his client.
Rajab Butt and Emaan Asad have remained in the public spotlight following their marital dispute and subsequent divorce-related developments. In March, Rajab Butt publicly confirmed that he had decided to end the marriage, after which a legal divorce notice was sent to Emaan Asad.
In August, Emaan Fatima also publicly claimed that she had received a defamation notice from Rajab Butt along with a separate notice concerning custody of their son. At the time, the claims regarding the notices were based on her public account of the matter.
Rajab Butt has a large following across social media platforms, with millions of followers on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, making developments involving his personal and legal affairs a subject of considerable online attention.
