(Web Desk) - Bollywood actor Salman Khan has recalled unusual experiences from his youth, saying he often felt the presence of something mysterious in his bedroom at his Mumbai residence.
The actor shared the account during an appearance on filmmaker Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee with Karan season nine.
Recalling his experiences at Galaxy Apartments, Salman said he never slept alone in his bedroom because he could hear sounds suggesting someone was present, although he never saw anyone.
He said the lights would flicker, cupboards would open on their own and the music system would start playing whenever he left the room.
The actor also recalled feeling that someone was outside when he was in the bathroom, as though an unseen presence was moving things around near the cupboards.
Describing the incidents, Salman said they led him to believe that something or someone was present in the room, although he could not identify what it was.
When Karan asked whether he believed the room was haunted, the actor clarified that he did not necessarily interpret the experience as supernatural or paranormal. However, he said he had a persistent feeling that an unseen presence was there.
Despite the strange occurrences, Salman said he was never frightened because the presence had never harmed him.
