Summary In the past 24 hours, two new cases have been recorded—one from Karachi and another from Khairpur.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Sindh Health Department (SHD) said that the province has reported nine Mpox deaths and 25 confirmed cases this year so far, urging the masses to take precautionary measures to stem the spread of the disease.

A spokesperson for the Sindh Health Department stated that 122 suspected cases of monkeypox have been reported across the province so far, out of which 25 have been laboratory confirmed.

In the past 24 hours, two new cases have been recorded—one from Karachi and another from Khairpur.

Data shows that the majority of confirmed cases have been reported from Khairpur, with 18 cases, followed by three cases in Sukkur and four in Karachi.

Health authorities have urged the public and medical professionals to strictly follow precautionary measures. Citizens have been advised to immediately visit the nearest hospital if symptoms appear and to take special care while handling newborns.
