According to hospital officials, the virus was confirmed in a 38-year-old man a day earlier. The patient was shifted from Thaan Colony to the Infectious Diseases Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.

Health authorities stated that the patient’s condition is being closely monitored. Efforts are also underway to trace individuals who may have come into contact with him, in order to prevent further spread of the virus.
