ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to withdraw petitions against acquittal of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
The anti-graft watchdog, in its petitions in Islamabad High Court (IHC), says that further prosecution of the case will be a futile effort as available evidence is not as per legal standards and requirements.
The NAB had challenged acquittal of the former president in four cases including Ursus Tractors, SGS-Cotecna and Polo Ground cases.
