KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori emphasised the importance of aligning university education with the job market during a meeting with vice-chancellors of public universities.
The discussions focused on curriculum improvement, offering courses that match market demands, enhancing student training, addressing university issues, the role of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, and the establishment of university campuses in other cities to provide better education opportunities for local students.
Governor Tessori also advocated for universities to produce skilled professionals, not just graduates, and proposed initiatives such as installing solar panels for electricity, teacher training workshops, seeking suggestions, and collaborating with foreign experts to enhance educational institutions.
