ATC approves bail of PTI lawyer Mustfain Kazmi in SC protest case
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - An anti-terrorism court of Islamabad has approved the bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf lawyer Mustafain Kazmi in a case pertaining to protests by the PTI lawyers outside the Supreme Court.
Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqrernain made the decision.
Lawyers Imaan Mazaari and Hadi Ali presented the arguments on the behalf of Kazmi and Prosecutor Raja Naveed opposed the grant of bail to Kazmi.
The prosecutor said Kazmi rasied slogans against the judiciary which is a sacred institution of the country. It should be mentioned that the PTI workers have become habitual to attack institutions and they should face the repercussions accordingly.
Meanwhile, it was mentioned by the accused’s lawyers that the medical condition of Kazmi was not well. It was also added Kazmi was in the court’s premises at the time of protests.
