ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Another political huddle took place late Thursday night this time not in Jati Umra, but at the residence of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman in Islamabad, Dunya News reported.

The issue was same – constitutional amendment package – and the team members – PM Shehbaz Sharif, Ishaq Dar, PPP Bilawal Bhutto and Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar – were almost the same, interestingly the outcome of the convergence was not different from the result of Wednesday night meeting in Jati Umra – no progress on an agreed draft.

Though Bilawal made a victory sign to see reporters standing outside the residence of the Maulana, sources told Dunya News the meeting of the bigwigs failed to break the deadlock on constitutional amendment package, with JUI-F insistence on the allied members to accept its prepared draft.

According to sources, Maulana during the meeting assumed firm posture and asked the government delegation to avoid pressuring his MNAs and create an atmosphere of trust.
