ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed authorities to complete the Jinnah Avenue flyover project by next month.
During his visit to the F-8 Jinnah Avenue Interchange and F-10 Roundabout projects, he inspected ongoing construction activities and reviewed project progress.
He emphasised speeding up work while maintaining quality standards and ordered the completion of plantation and beautification work around the projects.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi stated that the flyover would be opened for traffic by the second week of February.
He stressed that the construction quality must not be compromised, and the beautification efforts should continue alongside the infrastructure development.
He further added that timely completion of these projects would ease traffic congestion and provide convenience to citizens, making travel more efficient by saving time and fuel through the signal-free corridor.
CDA Chairman, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Federal Interior Secretary Khurram Ali Agha, officials from NESPAK, and other senior officers accompanied the Minister during the visit.
