Decision was made based on recommendations from District Intelligence Committee: Sources
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The district authority has refused permission for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to stage a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan, citing security and logistical issues.
Officials explained that the request was declined due to several high-profile events already scheduled in the city.
The decision was made following recommendations from the District Intelligence Committee.
Additionally, past instances of code-of-conduct violations at PTI rallies were highlighted as a significant factor in the decision to deny the event's approval.
