"Anyone who can stand with us, we will welcome their support," he maintained
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) secretary general Salman Akram Raja said on Friday that Maulana Fazlur Rehman voted for the 26th Constitutional Amendment, and that was the latter's politics, adding that the PTI opposed the 26th Amendment.
Speaking to the media at the Islamabad Judicial Complex, Raja stated that their bail cases continue saying "it’s a sword they have hanging over us, and we will keep fighting. These are false cases, and tomorrow we will go to Swabi, where people will protest in every union council."
He added that Maulana Fazlur Rehman was a wise politician, adding that he hoped that the JUI-F chief would stand with the people.
"The public is against this fascism, and Maulana Fazlur Rehman will stand with the people against this fascism," he added.
The PTI leader further said that their stance was clear, adding they would support democracy and human rights at all costs, and oppose every attack on the judiciary.
"Anyone who can stand with us, we will welcome their support," he maintained.
