Weather to remain cold and dry in most parts of country

As per synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted mainly cold and partly cloudy weather in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
However, cloudy weather with light rain/snow may occur at isolated places in Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to the synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave is likely to approach western parts of the country from today.
During the last 24 hours, Cold and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country, while very cold weather in hilly areas. Leh remained the coldest place in the country on Friday where temperature fell up to -14 degrees Celsius.
