PM Shehbaz inaugurates Recep Tayyip Erdogan Interchange in Islamabad

Says the major public project will improve connectivity between twin cities
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has inaugurated the newly completed Recep Tyyip Erdogan Interchange (F-8 Islamabad) at a ceremony, marking another milestone after Jinnah Square.
Speaking at the event, the prime minister stated that the major public project would significantly enhance connectivity between Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
He expressed delight over the visible development progress and praised Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the CDA chairman and his team for their dedication in delivering the projects on time and in less than the proposed budget.
The interchange features underpass and U-turns designed to ease traffic congestions and ensure convenience for citizens.
The prime minister also mentioned the recent visit of Turkey’s president, emphasising the strong bilateral friendship between Pakistan and Turkiye.
Further beautification projects are planned for Islamabad, he added.
