LAHORE (Dunya News) - President Asif Ali Zardari has stated that economic indicators are improving and public hardships are gradually decreasing.

Speaking at a dinner hosted in his honor by former Punjab Governor Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood, the President was joined by Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, prominent businessman Gohar Ejaz, and Nawab Shehzad, among other notable figures.

During the event, President Zardari discussed Pakistan's economic situation and emphasised the need for further administrative improvements.

Regarding his recent visit to China, he described it as successful, highlighting China-Pakistan cooperation under CPEC. He reaffirmed that both countries are working together for regional development, with Chinese companies planning to set up factories in Pakistan.

President Zardari also praised the Sindh government’s contributions to health and education, mentioning the establishment of new universities, colleges, and hospitals. He noted that Sindh has built homes for flood victims, encouraging other provinces to follow.
