KARACHI (Dunya News) – The government has imposed travel ban on 20 senior officers in Sindh amid an ongoing crackdown on land grabbing and corruption within the state institution.

According to sources, the names of officials involved multiple corruption investigations have been placed on the Passport Control List to prevent them from fleeing the country.

Reports containing solid evidences against the influential figures in Sindh have been prepared signaling decisive action against corrupt elements.

Former head of the Sindh Building Control Authority, Sindh Board of Revenue, Malir Development Authority and several ex-deputy Commissioners of Karachi are among those under investigations. Authorities have completed all necessary measures to block their escape while inquiries continue.
