The court issued arrest warrants for Omar Ayub, Amir Dogar, and Amir Mughal due to their absence
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Islamabad District and Sessions Court has issued arrest warrants for PTI leader Omar Ayub and other party members.
Judicial Magistrate Shehzad Khan heard cases against Barrister Gohar Khan, Omar Ayub, and others regarding violations of Section 144.
During the hearing, the court issued arrest warrants for Omar Ayub, Amir Dogar, and Amir Mughal due to their absence. However, exemption requests for Shoaib Shaheen and Barrister Gohar were accepted.
Barrister Gohar Khan had filed a request for exemption from appearance, which was granted by the court. Meanwhile, arguments on the accused individuals’ acquittal petitions could not take place again, leading the court to adjourn the hearing until April 23.
It is worth noting that Barrister Gohar Khan and other PTI leaders are facing two cases registered at I-9 Police Station.
