Parliamentary Committee on National Security to meet on Tuesday

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq has has convened the Parliamentary Committee on National Security meeting on Tuesday on the advice of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to sources, the Parliamentary Committee on National Security meeting will be in-camera during which briefing will be given on the security situation. In the meeting, the military leadership will brief the parliamentary committee about the current security situation in the country.
Sources said that the meeting will be held at 1:30pm in the National Assembly hall. The parliamentary leaders of all political parties present in parliament and their nominated representatives will participate in the Parliamentary Committee on National Security meeting.
Federal cabinet members will also attend this meeting, and a briefing will be given on the current national security situation.
