PESHAWAR (Dunya News) –Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Adviser Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif on Wednesday raised questions regarding Nawaz Sharif's absence from the meeting of Parliamentary Committee on National Security.
In his statement, Saif said that those who called the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security should explain why Nawaz Sharif did not attend the huddle, wondering if Nawaz Sharif's absence from the Parliamentary Committee on National Security meeting a sign of support for terrorists?
He further questioned why the PML-N president boycotted the meeting, asking if his platelet count had dropped again, preventing him from attending.
He stated that by imprisoning the founder of PTI, the government had itself undermined national consensus.
“Just like the previous five operations, building national unity and strength is a prerequisite before launching any new operation,” he maintained.
Saif emphasised that terrorism could not be defeated by mere repetitive condemnations and statements.
“PTI is the true representative of the nation's unity and sentiments against terrorism. PTI stands with the brave heroes of the nation who have sacrificed their lives in the fight against terrorism,” he concluded.
