Deputy PM Ishaq Dar visits Data Darbar

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar along with his son visited Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh shrine on late Friday night. He offered 'Fateha' and prayed for peace and prosperity of the country.

Director General of Auqaf and Religious Affairs, Dr. Tahir Raza Bukhari, also accompanied Ishaq Dar during his visit to Data Darbar. The Deputy Prime Minister was briefed on the ongoing development works at Data Darbar.

Ishaq Dar was also informed about the project at the front of Data Darbar initiated by the Punjab Government. This project will be completed at a cost of 2.5 billion, through collaboration between the Auqaf Department and the LDA.

With the completion of this development project, the security of Data Darbar and the surrounding areas will be further improved.
