FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister Aleem Khan said that smaller provinces will definitely be created, which will help strengthen administrative control.

Addressing a workers’ convention in Faisalabad, Aleem Khan said that creating three provinces each in Sindh and Punjab would benefit the public, and that Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa could also be divided into three provinces each.

He said that all neighboring countries have smaller administrative units, and that they would appeal to provincial chief ministers to support the division of provinces.

The federal minister said that security forces are sacrificing their lives to protect our children. “Does India accept Pakistan’s existence? Never has it happened that seven enemy aircraft were shot down while not a single one of ours was lost. Is this the reward for their service—that we speak ill of them? After the victory on May 10, Pakistan’s global standing rose, yet some people here are filled with jealousy.”

Aleem Khan said that no matter the circumstances, “we will always stand with our Pakistan Army. Don’t vote for us if you don’t want to, but don’t support anyone who is not loyal to the country. Everything comes after Pakistan—Pakistan comes first. The army chief is the protector of Pakistan, not any one government.”

He added that before May 10, the world saw Pakistanis as beggars, but after the war the world realized Pakistan is a powerful nation. “God granted us this honor, yet some people are pained by it. If we sleep peacefully today, it is because of our army. It is our duty to silence those who speak against the country and the army.”

The federal minister said that governments and positions come and go, but the security of the nation is essential. He urged the youth to counter those who spread propaganda against the army on social media. “Drones came over our homes—if we had not responded, they would never have spared us.”

Abdul Aleem Khan said that the army chief looks the enemy in the eye. “One political party said they would come out if Trump arrived. Today, that same Trump praises our army chief. In every speech, Trump acknowledges Pakistan’s victory. The Chief of Army Staff now holds a new position, leading all branches of the armed forces.”

He questioned those who criticize the military online: “Would India let Pakistan exist without its army? Our elders tell us how Hindus treated Muslims. Pakistan is a free and sovereign nation because of the Pakistan Army. Our children and brothers take bullets at the border so you remain safe; they leave their mothers and wives widowed so you can live in peace.”

He added that those whose children are martyred should be asked—“no one sacrifices a life for 50,000 or 100,000 rupees. Those spreading propaganda on social media should be ashamed. Shameless people abuse the army of their own country.”
