LAHORE (Dunya News) – Provincial Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Azma Bokhari, stated that the founder of PTI came into power with the sole aim of dealing in diamonds and will not be given any leniency.

In her statement, she criticized the PTI founder for attempting to enter politics through backdoor methods. She accused him of frequently labeling others as thieves and criminals, while in reality, it was during his own tenure that corruption and theft took place.

She further claimed that a specific narrative was crafted through a partnership with Faiz Hameed, where opponents were branded as "thieves and dacoits."

The minister mentioned that this alleged alliance helped the PTI founder come to power, and raised questions about offshore companies and alleged misuse of charity funds. She also claimed that despite the controversy surrounding the authenticity of documents related to Bani Gala, the PTI leader was declared "Sadiq and Ameen" under the Faiz Hameed project.

According to her, stories of alleged corruption and theft during the PTI founder's rule have become widely known, challenging the image that he entered politics merely for the diamond business. She emphasized that accountability should be impartial and the rule of law must apply equally to everyone.
