Pakistan Army's National Security Workshop in Peshawar concludes; participants honor martyrs and discuss counter-terrorism.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The National Security Workshop, organiSed by the Pakistan Army, concluded successfully in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The workshop ran from January 11 to 22, bringing together key figures from academia, media, political leadership, youth, and civil society.
Around 80% of participants hailed from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly the merged districts, while the remaining 20% represented other parts of the country. In total, 91 participants and 150 scholars from Peshawar universities took part in the programme.
Special sessions were held with the prime minister and other state officials, offering participants direct interaction with senior leadership. During the concluding session, the Peshawar Corps Commander engaged participants in detailed discussions on national security, countering misleading propaganda, and anti-terrorism measures.

Certificates were distributed to participants, and a floral tribute was paid at the Martyrs’ Memorial. Attendees commended the sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces in the fight against terrorism and reaffirmed their unwavering solidarity with the military.
