KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Sindh government on Tuesday notified a single-member commission tasked to investigate causes of the Gul Plaza inferno, Dunya News reported.
Justice Agha Faisal of the Sindh High Court (SHC) has been appointed as the head of the inquiry commission.
The Inquiry Commission has received the gazette notification, which also includes the Terms of Reference (ToRs). The investigation will be completed within eight weeks. The commission will review the causes of the fire at Gul Plaza.
The commission will also examine the building’s fire prevention measures, fire control arrangements, and overall safety measures.
