LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has summoned an important meeting of the Provincial Apex Committee today to review the law and order and overall security situation in the province.
According to sources, the meeting to be chaired by the chief minister will hold a detailed discussion on the overall security landscape in Punjab.
Key decisions are also expected regarding potential terrorism threats and prevailing security challenges.

Senior civil and military officials will attend the session, where a comprehensive review of security arrangements across the province will be presented.
Briefings will be given on the protection of sensitive installations, intelligence matters and strategies to tackle possible threats.
The Apex Committee meeting will also assess the performance of security institutions and deliberate on further effective measures to ensure lasting peace and stability in Punjab.
