ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rain, thunderstorms, and isolated hailstorms at several parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

Gusty winds and thunderstorms are expected at scattered locations in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, central and southern Punjab, Kashmir, and upper Sindh during evening and night hours.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, several districts including Peshawar, Swat, Dir, Chitral, Abbottabad, and Mansehra are among those expecting rain and gusty winds after nightfall.

Southern and central Punjab districts including Multan, Sargodha, Jhang, and Layyah face similar conditions.

In Sindh, Larkana, Dadu, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, and surrounding areas may receive thunderstorm activity, while Balochistan expects scattered showers from Quetta and Loralai to Gwadar and Turbat, with possible heavy falls and hailstorms at isolated locations. Islamabad will remain dry with partly cloudy skies.
