Summary Pakistan resumes Gulf flights after Middle East ceasefire, but full restoration delayed due to partial airspace closures following Iran-US tensions.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan has begun restoring flight operations following the ceasefire in the Middle East, with air traffic gradually resuming across major airports. According to sources, flights to Gulf countries have restarted from multiple airports, including Allama Iqbal International Airport, while airlines have begun preparing revised schedules for full restoration of operations.

From Lahore, nine flights departed for destinations including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Bahrain, Kuwait, Doha, Jeddah, and Dammam, while eight flights were dispatched from Islamabad International Airport to Gulf countries. Similarly, 18 flights departed from Jinnah International Airport Karachi, six from Peshawar, and four from Multan Airport.

Airport officials said that complete normalization of flight operations may take more time as airspace restrictions remain partially in place in some countries. Sources added that more than 3,000 flights from Pakistan were canceled over the past 40 days due to tensions between Iran and the United States, severely disrupting the aviation system.
