ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Netherlands Foreign Minister Tom Berndsen to discuss regional developments.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, both leaders exchanged views on the evolving situation in the region, while the Dutch foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s role in facilitating the ceasefire.

He also expressed support for Pakistan’s continued efforts towards achieving lasting peace, as both sides voiced concern over serious violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon.

The two leaders emphasized the importance of ensuring full implementation of the ceasefire to achieve sustainable peace.

They also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in trade, economy, and investment.
