Reza Amiri says Iran grateful to Pakistan's leadership, people

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, has paid tribute to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their tireless efforts and positive diplomatic role.

Reza Amiri Moghadam, in a message on X, expressed his gratitude at the end of Iranian FM Araghchi’s visit to Pakistan and said the FM made a regional diplomatic consultation visit.

Raza Amiri Moghadam said: “I sincerely thank the Government of Pakistan, the Pakistan Army and the Pakistani people.

“The Prime Minister and Field Marshal took important steps to end war and establish lasting peace in the region.

Like the previous visit, this visit was also held in a completely calm atmosphere.”

The Iranian ambassador said that this is the result of the excellent administrative capacity of the brotherly, friendly and neighbouring country of Pakistan.

“I thank the soldiers of the Pakistan Army, the security forces, the police, I thank the employees of all government institutions, the public and the citizens of Islamabad,” the envoy added.
