(Web Desk) – Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, has said that Pakistan is seen globally as capable of brokering agreements and ensuring their implementation.
He emphasized that this role highlights not only the country’s diplomatic influence but also its defense capabilities.
Ambassador Sheikh stated that Pakistan did not interfere in the internal affairs of other countries but aimed to create constructive outcomes.
He noted that Pakistan has historically played a significant role in the Middle East and will continue to do so.
He added that Pakistan acted as a mediator with the trust of multiple global actors, including the United States, China, Russia, Iran, Gulf countries, Turkey, Egypt, and the European Union.
Reflecting on Pakistan-US relations, Ambassador Sheikh said that the eight-decade-long partnership has faced ups and downs, including critical and challenging periods, but its strength is evident in Pakistan’s ability to overcome these obstacles.
