LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Information and Culture Minister Azma Bokhari has congratulated the nation on the completion of one successful year of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, calling it a golden and unforgettable chapter in Pakistan’s history.
In a statement issued on Friday, she said the operation reflected the extraordinary bravery, professionalism and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces, whose achievements would be remembered for generations. She paid tribute to the falcons of the Pakistan Air Force, stating that their exceptional operational capabilities and skills had become a “case study” for military forces across the world.
Azma Bokhari also appreciated the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar for their contributions towards the success of the operation.
She said the entire nation takes pride in the military leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
The provincial minister said Pakistan is a peaceful and responsible state whose foremost priority has always been peace. However, she warned that if Pakistan’s desire for peace was mistaken for weakness, the consequences would be similar to those faced by India.
She urged India to immediately stop all forms of interference and proxy activities, including “Fitna al-Khawarij” and “Fitna al-Hindustan,” adding that Pakistan would never compromise on its national security.
