LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that the enemy will never forget the Marka-e-Haq.
Paying tribute to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu and Admiral Naveed Ashraf, she said the world has witnessed and will continue to witness Pakistan’s victory and India’s defeat, adding that Marka-e-Haq has left a lasting mark of Pakistan’s strength on the enemy.
She said Marka-e-Haq proved that Pakistan is peace-loving but can also become Bunyan-un-Marsoos when required. According to her, the operation has become a historic chapter reflecting Pakistan’s greatness in world history.
Maryam Nawaz said the world saw the entire nation united and standing like Bunyan-un-Marsoos against the enemy during Marka-e-Haq, while the unity between Pakistan’s armed forces and its people forced the enemy to bow down.
She further stated that fearless leadership laid the foundation for the historic victory in Marka-e-Haq, adding that patriotic Pakistanis across the world are celebrating the success of the operation.
The Punjab chief minister said celebrations are being held in every city, village and street of Punjab, while students, teachers, traders, lawyers, politicians and farmers are all rejoicing over the success of Marka-e-Haq.
She added that Pakistan’s “Shaheens” proved their superiority over the enemy through professional military expertise and operational skills.
