Summary People held rallies, events, candlelight vigils and seminars to pay homage to Armed Forces
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The nation is celebrating the victory over India in a war, which it imposed on Pakistan on May 8, 2025.
From Karachi to Khyber, from Kashmir to Gwadar, celebrations of the historic victory of Marka-e-Haq continued. Ceremonies in Azad Kashmir, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan were held.
The enemy carried out an unprovoked attack on Pakistan, which was retaliated in a befitting manner through Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.
With this operation, Marka-e-Haq has become an important milestone in the history of the nation. Marka-e-Haq reflects the national resolve, military prowess, and strategic maturity.
The success of this important battle strengthened national confidence and highlighted Pakistan as a responsible and stable regional power.
In this regard, citizens across the country have expressed their gratitude to the Pakistan Armed Forces.
They held rallies, events, candlelight vigils and seminars to pay tributes to the armed forces for their bravery and excellence.
BICYCLE RALLY ON MARKA-E-HAQ IN LAHORE
To celebrate the strength of the country's defence and the achievements of the Pakistan Armed Forces, an enthusiastic bicycle rally was organised under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Ali Ijaz.
A large number of citizens participated in the rally to express solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces. Participants in the bicycle rally chanted slogans in favour of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.
FIREWORKS DISPLAYED IN HASILPUR
On the completion of one year of the success of Operation Marka-e-Haq, a ceremony was organised by the administration at the Municipal Committee. Assistant Commissioner Hammad Hamid, DSP Nasrullah Bakht and CO Chaudhry Muhammad Nadeem.
During the ceremony, the atmosphere echoed with slogans of "Long Live Pakistan" and "Long Live the Pakistan Army." A large number of citizens were present at the Municipal Committee to express solidarity with the Pakistani armed forces and watch the fireworks display.
MUSICAL CONCERT IN NANKANA SAHIB
In a colorful celebration ceremony at Nankana Sahib Allama Iqbal Park, citizens paid great tribute to the Pakistan Army. A musical concert and spectacular fireworks were held in celebration of the victory of the battle of truth. A cake was also cut to express national unity in celebration of the victory.
A large number of youth, women, and children participated in the victory celebration ceremony. The city's atmosphere was lit up with colorful fireworks. A large number of citizens witnessed the beautiful scenes of the fireworks firsthand.
CELEBRATION CEREMONY IN KHUSHAB
The celebration ceremony of Marka-e-Haq was organised at Kashmir Park, Joharabad. Deputy Commissioner Dr Jahanzeb Hussain and DPO Dr Amara Shirazi attended the ceremony as special guests. The sky lit up with colorful fireworks at the ceremony, a special musical programme won the hearts of the participants, and at the end of the ceremony, prayers were offered for the country's security and the Pakistan Army.
IN MIRPUR AZAD KASHMIR
A ceremony was organised by the Chamber of Commerce in Mirpur Azad Kashmir. National flag was hoisted and a cake was cut. At the end of the ceremony, a special prayer was offered for the development and stability of Pakistan.
LIAQUAT BAGH IN RAWALPINDI
A rally was taken out from Liaquat Bagh in Rawalpindi. A large number of citizens, including the business community, participated. The participants raised the national flag and chanted slogans in favour of the Pakistan Army and the Field Marshal.
GUJAR KHAN, WAZIRABAD, ALIPUR, OKARA, LODHRAN, VEHARI
Rallies were also organised in Gujar Khan, Wazirabad, Alipur, Okara, Lodhran and Vehari to express their support for the Pakistan Army. The participants raised slogans in favour of the Pakistan Army. The participants paid tribute to the Pakistan Army and the martyrs.
A rally for the right to fight was also held in Mailsi, with the participation of the Central Association of Traders, Civil Society and citizens. A ceremony was held in Ahmedpur Sharqia, where female students paid tribute to the Pak Army.
A rally was held from the Civil Hospital to the Press Club in Shikarpur. In Bhera, school children paid tribute to the Pak Army by presenting national songs, speeches and tableaus.
A rally was taken out in Sohbatpur under the leadership of social leader Ali Ahmed Khosa, the participants raised slogans in favor of the Pakistan Army, a flag hoisting ceremony was held in Phalia Municipal Committee, the business community and citizens participated in large numbers, rallies were also taken out in Mianwali, Landi Kotal, Pakpattan, Shakargarh, Renala Khurd, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Tando Muhammad Khan, Chaman, Rajanpur and Karak.
RALLIES, SEMINARS IN BALOCHISTAN
A rally was led by Provincial Minister for Livestock Mir Faisal Khan Jamali and Sardar Muhammad Haroon Khan Jamali. The participants were holding national flags in their hands. Rallies were also taken out in Dera Bugti, Jaffarabad, Liaquatpur and Haripur. The participants raised slogans in favor of the Pakistani army.
