PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi paid tribute to the armed forces and national unity on the first anniversary of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, describing it as a symbol of bravery and divine support.
In a message shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Afridi said the operation was not merely a military campaign but reflected the collective strength, faith and determination of the nation.
He said that although one year had passed since the operation, its success and significance remained alive in the hearts of the people. “This was not just an operation, but a manifestation of the courage of the Pakistan Army, the unity of the nation and the help of Allah,” he stated.
Afridi further said that Pakistan has always promoted peace, tolerance and humanity, but when the country’s sovereignty is challenged, the entire nation stands united like a solid wall.
