ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to discuss the evolving situation in the Middle East and matters of mutual interest.
According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office, both leaders exchanged views on regional developments and emphasised the importance of maintaining close coordination amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.
During the call, the Saudi foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s constructive diplomatic role and reaffirmed support for Islamabad’s efforts aimed at promoting regional peace and stability, particularly in the context of ongoing engagement between Iran and the United States.
The two sides also discussed the importance of safeguarding maritime security, including the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, and agreed to remain in close contact over regional and global developments.
Ishaq Dar and Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan discussed Middle East tensions, maritime security and reaffirmed cooperation, with Riyadh supporting Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts for regional stability.
